We took full advantage of the open floor plan when renovating our new location at 325 West Main St.,
We were able to design the tech room of our dreams. Giving us the ability to work more efficiently, and having room to improve, and expand in the future.
Each of our technicians are provided with there own workstation. Each workstation is equipped with a computer to check emails, conduct research, backup customer data, or perform computer service remotely over the internet. Each of our technicians now has there own phone extension, and voicemail. They also now have there own tools, diagnostic equipment, and software, which is all easily accessed.
To conserve space we recessed the Power Switch, DVD RW Drive, Ethernet and USB ports into the wall. Our work benches are topped with rubber, and we have installed rubber flooring as well.. We did this to ensure there is no chance of damaging vital components to our customer’s computers while in our care. Your computer and the technician are both grounded at all times.
All of our tools are Anti-Static ESD Safe Material 106-109 ohms Resistance. This allows for safe controlled dissipation of static build up, and is ideal for working on sensitive electronic components.
We designed our techroom to have open area behind our tech room wall where we keep our network, server, all wires, and power cords.
If we experience our own technical problems we will be able to solve it quickly without having to shut down the entire tech room.
We have only been operating out of this new tech room a few months, and we are already seeing just how efficient it really is. Now that we have been able to get caught up from the transitional backlog from renovating, and relocating, we are seeing turn around times of one to two days instead of two to three weeks.
The days of two week turn around times are over.
